And while our market is mostly balanced, we're still seeing competing offers on well priced properties. Demand here remains high as the Cowichan Valley continues to be a solid desirable destination on the island. |

| The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB) reports sales for all types of properties in the VIREB market area were up 3% from a year ago with active listings down 4% in the same period. Chair, Oliver Naud indicates VIREB's housing market remains in the mid-range of balanced with aprox 6 months of available inventory.
The Cowichan Valley benchmark price for a Single Family Home thru September 2025 was up four per cent over September 2024, currently at $804100, while the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board's board-wide benchmark dropped two percent, to $796,000. This is the second time her baby girl, Gracie, has raised funds for Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock & Wigs for Kids. In addition to raising $3,600, which she split between these two wonderful organizations, she again donated her lovely blond locks to be made into a wig for a BC child battling cancer!
